Holding Hands: Desert Sound Colony, Adam Pits, Breaka

“10 years ago I moved to Leeds because of the music scene. I was transfixed by the club culture that was emanating out of the city. DMZ was at The West Indian Community Centre, Louche was at Mint and Hessle Audio were running Ruffage at Wire. Basically it was completely booting off…

The nights down at Wire were completely and utterly amazing. They filled me with inspiration and are a big reason why I ended up starting Holding Hands eight years later. I saw so many insane artists down there. James Blake, Mount Kimbie, Untold and on the final night at Ruffage they had Shackleton, Kode 9, Midland and everyone from Hessle. It was completely bonkers.

I’ve played there many times over the years but this is a truly special moment for me that I get to bring my label Holding Hands up to run a party where it all began. I will be joined by my two wunderkind rave children Adam Pits and Breaka for a triple threat b2b2b2b all night long session.

I hope to see some of the many lovely people I’ve met coming up and playing over the last few years. It’s gonna be a mega vibe.”
