For our first Leeds show since debuting earlier this year with Bellaire and Esa, we’re bringing a very special DJ & Live performance to Hifi Club Leeds with Afrofuturism-pioneer Auntie Flo and Highlife/ Fine Grains-affiliate, CAIN.
Still riding high off his latest Radio Highlife album release, performing everywhere from Africa, Cuba, the US, a stunning Glastonbury show and headline set at We Out Here Festival where we caught him last, there’s really no better time to catch Auntie Flo do his thing. The Goan-Glasweigian Highlife-label head is considered as one of the most original modern talents, fusing electronic and world elements in both live and club settings.
To top it off we welcome back CAIN for a mind-bending live show before Auntie Flo takes the stage. Blending traditional folk music with infectious, beefy polyrhythmic drum patterns and futuristic bass, CAIN’s live show is nothing short of impressive, with his music being backed by the likes of Ben UFO, Bradley Zero, HAAi, Hunee and more.
