Rex The Dog makes and performs music with analogue electronics and a self-built Modular Synthesizer. He carries this precious machinery around the world, bringing his idiosyncratic sounds to packed crowds at the best clubs, festivals and parties.In the last 18 months this has included everywhere from Berlin’s hallowed Panorama Bar, to an intimate pop up gig in a Barcelona record store. Rex has released on Kompakt Records since his first EP ‘Prototype’ in 2004, as well as Kitsuné and Southern Fried. Recent releases have included the acclaimed ‘Sicko’ and ‘Teufelsberg’, earning him the support of his DJ colleagues including Jennifer Cardini, Roman Flügel, Jackmaster and Kölsch. As well as his original material, Rex has released selected remixes for the likes of Depeche Mode, Me Me Me and Moby.

We have invited two fine gentlemen from one of Leeds finest brands to come and warm things up for us! The Limit hermanos have rocked the decks many a time in Wire and are sure to be an excellent addition to what is looking to be an outstanding night.

This is the collaboration of two promoters from the North East of England with very similar tastes, principles and beliefs within clubbing culture We have a shared goal of bringing top quality musicians to the best clubs in the North and to create atmospheres where people can truly escape and get lost in the music. We do this for the love and every penny gets reinvested back into the scene so we can keep booking the best in the business and giving everyone the opportunity to experience amazing music This live show is set to be his first in Leeds and is ready to take the roof off well and truly off wire. So don’t be a fool and head on underground for what is going to be a very special night indeed. Wednesday nights have never been so good.
