Hold onto your hats: everyone’s favourite (and most feared) masked mixer of misery is visiting Leeds for the first time.
DJ Bus Replacement Service aka Doris Woo is a Rinse FM resident, Bang Face Festival regular and “Boiler Room survivor”. Her sets are the result of years rolling around in the muck of recorded music and diving into the internet’s filthiest cess pits. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll wince. And you’ll most definitely dance. Woo says: “I simply love playing bad and incorrect music at people for my own amusement.”
Stretchy Dance Supply have a similarly silly approach to partying. Their events maintain a strict aesthetic policy of limb-loosening beats married with Far-Eastern exercise videos, a combination that has had Leeds dancers’ hearts racing since the start of 2018. Expect jungle, footwork and other speedometer-busting beats from their residents Dubrunner and Sourpuss.
