It’s been a long two years since Hun Choi last rocked Wire, and we’re beyond blessed to have him back.
In that time, Hunee’s notoriety as one of the world’s greatest party-starting DJs has grown exponentially. He is now a mainstay of the main stage at the biggest clubs and festivals – and this only makes his appearance in our little basement more exciting. This is where his eclectic and endlessly energetic selections work best: on a small, sweaty dance floor with a pumping sound system.
On support will be Cosmic Slop’s Tom Smith, a fiercely original selector whose sets are always a rich history lesson of dance music history, forging a deconstructed timeline of soul, jazz, house, AOR, hip-hop and trap. (Keep up with him if you can). Tom has previously hosted Hunee at his legendary Hope House party, and the two complement each other perfectly.
